Circularity

When revising your application, we work largely circularly. Parts from the pump are cleaned to a high standard and reused if possible.

The Dutch government wants to use 50% less primary raw materials in business processes by 2030.
Huisman Totaal Techniek is happy to contribute to this.

Electric car

With the purchase of the Renault Zoë, the transition to an electric fleet has begun. This fully electric car is used for short business distances. We are eager for our regular car supplier (MAN) to put its emission-free model into production so that we can make our fleet more sustainable. This new model is powered by an electric motor on hydrogen cells. Given our area of operation, this is the only solution to be able to travel long distances without emissions.

Sustainability

Huisman Totaal Techniek has the ambition to generate the electricity consumption in the chain entirely by means of green energy on the roof of the company building. With this we want to contribute to the objectives for climate-neutral entrepreneurship. Given the location of the building, the roof is extremely suitable for solar and hydrogen panels.

An air heat pump is used to heat and cool our company building. This makes Huisman Totaal Techniek completely gas-free.

Sustainability in the future

Sustainable entrepreneurship is of paramount importance to us, to meet this we have the following projects planned:

  • 2024: Installing solar panels on the company roof;

  • 2025: Hydrogen service bus;

  • 2030: Installing hydrogen panels.
